Il racconto di come abbiamo creato un progetto che avrebbe aperto un mercato, professionalizzando le figure intorno all’artista e arricchendo di dignità il racconto di Oumar, attraverso rappresentazione, promozione, strategia.
Quest’anno Electropark ha consultato NoOx per: proporre alcuni artisti internazionali, secondo una linea di direzione artistica, curarne le relazioni prima, durante e dopo il festival, creare e moderare due panels contestuali, creando delle partnerships strategiche.

From Senegal, now in Italy.
His music is a proposal of innovative sounds, rooted in the Senegalese
West African culture and influenced from international & pan-African sounds,
such as soul, reggae, afro-pop, afro-rock, funk, salsa.
His band, made of international musicians (Senegal, Italy), the “Conquerors”
have a remarkable music background (Omar Péne, Youssou Ndour,
Maria Siga, Souleymane Faye, Carlou D…).
He is an international artist, already included in International line-ups &
Showcases Festivals, such as the Dakar Music Expo, Stereoafrica, Afrobrix,
Electropark, Sofar Sound and has already toured 3 times
in Italy (Winter ’21, Summer ’22 and 2024) which became the second home
to his project.
Creative Director of several live concert shows in Senegal, such as Thiakaay.
He gives a strong importance to Wolof songwriting and decolonization of the Senegalese/African storytelling through a fresh
and realistic photography of his reality.
Sufism is a strong element in his creation, so Pan Africanism is;
his inspirations come from great artists and performers such as Aminata Fall,
Youssou N’dour & Baaba Mall, Fela Kuti…
He’s been involved in the Opera Choral of the Italian Embassy
of Dakar with the vocal coach Hadar Halevy De Vito.
This is a radical feature in the vocal interpretation of Alassane
that can vary from a falsetto and sweet tone to a grave and baritone one.
